Cute Monkey Holding a Peeled Banana

A smiling baby monkey sits sideways on the ground and looks back over its shoulder with big round eyes and shiny pupils. One hand holds up a half-peeled banana, with the peel hanging down in three open strips. The monkey has rosy cheek marks drawn as little dashes, a small tuft of hair on top of its head, and round ears with simple inner lines. Its long tail curls into a big spiral behind its back, and its feet rest flat at the bottom of the page. The lines are bold and the spaces are large, so this one works well for younger kids who are still learning to stay inside the lines. Try brown or tan for the fur, a lighter shade for the face and ears, and bright yellow for the banana. You can also ask kids to count the peel strips or trace the tail spiral with a finger before coloring. It is a free printable you can use at home or in class.
