Penguin in a Pom-Pom Hat Under Falling Snowflakes

A smiling baby penguin stands on a chunky block of ice in a ribbed knit hat with a big pom-pom and a long striped scarf with fringed ends. Its wings rest at its sides, and big round eyes and an open beak give it a cheerful look. A small igloo sits on the snowy horizon behind it, and wavy lines show the water around the floe. Snowflakes of different sizes and small round snowballs fill the sky. Little hands will manage the large areas on the hat, scarf and belly, while kids who like finer detail can focus on the snowflakes. Two bright, contrasting colors would look good on the scarf stripes, with a matching hat and pale blues on the ice. Print this free page for a winter rainy day or a classroom activity.
