Cute Sitting Monkey With Curly Tail

A young monkey sits on the ground with one knee pulled up and one arm resting across it. Its hand hangs loosely over the knee. The face is big and round with a tuft of spiky hair on top, large rounded ears, arched eyebrows, long eyelashes, small nostrils and a soft smile. A long tail curls out behind the body and ends in a hook on the left side of the page. Little jagged lines of fur show at the wrist and ankle, and the feet stretch out at the bottom with clear toes. The outlines are thick and the spaces are roomy, so it suits younger kids. Try browns and tans for the fur, then a lighter shade for the face, ears, hands and feet so the shapes stand out. You can print it free for a quiet afternoon or a lesson on animals and their tails.
