Desert Town Beneath a Star with Palm Trees
Coloring guide
A large pointed star fills the top of the page, with long thin rays stretching in many directions. One ray reaches straight down toward a small walled town on a low hill. The town has a castle-style gate with an arched doorway and a notched top edge, a tall tower with two arched windows, and a few flat-roofed buildings with small square windows. Two palm trees stand on the left, one more on the right, and tufts of grass sit near the base. The line work is clean and the shapes are big, so it suits kids who are just learning to stay inside the lines. Try coloring the star in bright yellow and leaving the sky around it dark blue, then use warm sandy tones for the buildings. It is a free printable that also works well for a quiet Christmas season activity.
