Swiper the Fox Sneaks Up on Dora the Explorer and Boots
Coloring guide
Up at the top, Dora and Boots stand side by side with wide eyes and open mouths, each holding a hand up like they're yelling "stop!" Below them, Swiper the fox tiptoes forward on his hind legs with a toothy, sneaky grin, one fist clenched and the other hand reaching out. His big bushy tail curls up behind him with a wavy pattern. Dora has her bob haircut, a short-sleeved shirt, shorts, a backpack and chunky boots, and Boots the monkey wears big boots and holds a small object. Round bushes with flower shapes and little tufts of grass fill the corners. This free printable works well for ages 3 to 8. Orange fur for Swiper plus bright pink or purple flowers will make him pop against soft green bushes. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the fox's large tail and body in bright orange, leaving the yellow edge of the tail for later.
- 2Fill the fox's belly stripe, side, and tail edge with golden yellow, and color the fox's paws and feet in royal blue.
- 3Color Dora's hair in chocolate brown, her shirt in bubblegum pink, her shorts in bright orange, and her face and arms in light orange.
- 4Give Boots his blush pink face, golden yellow shirt, and bright red boots, leaving the eye whites and the fox's teeth white.
- 5Add the fox's blue bandana and head in royal blue, the green patch near the fox's arm in leaf green, and the flower petals and bush flowers in bubblegum pink.
- 6Optional: Add a few darker lines of orange or amber on the tail and belly to give the fox a little shading.
