Drago Bakugan Dragonoid Mid-Leap
Coloring guide
Drago, the armored dragon from Bakugan, bursts across the page with both wings stretched wide and his head tipped back, mouth open to show teeth. A single horn rises from his head, and his clenched fists make it look like a mid-battle cry. Plated armor covers the chest, shoulders and knees, and a long banded tail curves out to a sharp point. His clawed feet are tucked up in the leap. The page has no background, so the big wing panels and armor sections stand out. Deep red and orange on the wings with silver or gray armor would look dramatic. Grab the free PDF to print for a rainy day or class time. - brick red
- navy blue
- golden yellow
- pale blue
- steel blue
- taupe gray
- light yellow
- sky blue
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big wing membranes on both sides of the dragon and color them brick red, leaving the bony wing ridges white.
- 2Fill the arms, legs, and the long tail with navy blue, leaving the tail's light bands for the next step.
- 3Color the chest, hip armor, and the stripes on the tail and arms with golden yellow, and add the light yellow patches on the belly and lower legs.
- 4Use steel blue and pale blue for the shoulder plates, the left forearm, and the hip areas to add depth to the armor.
- 5Color the left hand with sky blue and the small tail segments near the tip with taupe gray, keeping the claws and head spikes white.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker navy blue along the edges of the armor plates to make them pop.
