Earth and a Sleepy-Eyed Heart Sharing a Hug, Earth Day

A smiling cartoon Earth with round black eyes, a little curved mouth and circle cheeks wraps both arms around a big heart. The heart has its own sweet face, with closed eyes, a tiny kissing mouth and a small heart above it, and a wavy scalloped edge around its outline. The planet is filled with outlined continent shapes that leave lots of open space for color. Block letters at the top read HAPPY EARTH DAY, and small stars and dots fill the sky around the globe inside a rounded border. Try coloring the continents green and brown and the water blue, then talk with kids about simple ways to take care of the planet, like recycling or turning off lights. The heart could be red or pink to show love for Earth. This page is free to print for a classroom or home activity.
