Earth Globe Inside a Big Animal Paw Print

A round globe sits at the bottom of the page, showing the Americas with North America, Central America, and South America outlined in thick black lines. Parts of Africa and Europe peek in along the right edge, and a bit of land shows on the left. Above the globe are four oval toe pads arranged in an arc, which makes the whole picture look like a paw print with the Earth as the main pad. Bold block letters at the top spell EARTH DAY. The shapes are large and the lines are easy to follow, so younger kids can stay inside them without much trouble. Try coloring the land masses green and brown and the ocean blue, then use a different color for each toe pad. It also works well as a conversation starter about how our footprints affect the planet. Print a few copies for a classroom Earth Day table.
