A curved cap sits near the top, followed by a row of zigzag lines and a row of four round dots. Right in the middle is a friendly five-petal flower with a tiny smiling face and a leaf on each side. Underneath you'll find another zigzag band and a second row of dots, and a few blades of grass poke up around the base of the egg. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the top cap and bottom cap of the egg in butter yellow, then fill the four dots in the top row with the same yellow.
- 2Color the upper and lower blue bands in sky blue, and fill the wide middle band in lavender purple.
- 3Fill the green band around the flower and the small gap near the flower in light green, then color both leaves in grass green.
- 4Color the five flower petals and the two pink zigzag stripes in candy pink, and fill the four bottom dots and the flower face in butter yellow.
- 5Add a touch of pale lime to the small grass patches at the bottom, and leave the eyes and smile of the flower face unfilled.
- 6Optional: add light shading along one side of each band with a darker shade of the same color to make the egg look more rounded.
