Hopping Bunny in the Tulips, Easter for Kids Coloring

In this free printable Easter page, a smiling bunny with long, tall ears bounds through a spring garden. Its mouth is open in a big grin, its front paws are tucked up mid-hop, and a round fluffy tail puffs out behind. Two tulips stand on either side, the one on the left with long leaves. Daisy-style flowers with round centers appear near the bottom corners and in the middle left. Grass tufts cover the ground, and two decorated Easter eggs rest in the lower right, one with zigzag stripes and one with wavy lines. Large shapes and bold outlines work for preschoolers and early elementary kids. Soft pink inside the ears, red or yellow tulips, and a different color pattern on each egg will make everything pop against the grass. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the bunny body, legs and front paw in warm brown, leaving the chest fur and the gap between the legs white.
- 2Color the bunny's inner ears and nose in blush pink, and the open mouth in rose pink.
- 3Fill the tulips with coral red on the left and sunny yellow on the right, then add leaf green to the leaves and stems.
- 4Color the bunny's fluffy tail in cream, and the grass tufts in leaf green and light green.
- 5Color the Easter eggs with sky blue, hot pink and sunny yellow stripes, leaving the stripe lines in their own color for contrast.
- 6Finish the flower petals in pale lavender and the flower centers in sunny yellow, keeping the eye shines and background white. Optional: add a little darker brown shading under the bunny's belly for depth.
