A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the two chicks: color both bodies bright yellow, leaving the wing outlines and belly shape clear.
- 2Fill the big egg: color the top cap violet, the stripe under it sky blue, then the wavy band in pink, the green band with hearts, and the lower purple band.
- 3Color the hearts bright red and the dots on the top band pink, leaving the little white gaps around them.
- 4Paint the flower petals lavender and the center bright yellow, then color the leaves and grass in grass green and light green.
- 5Add the beaks and feet in orange, leaving the white gaps between the toes and the background white.
- 6Optional: Add a little lime green to the leaf behind the chick for extra contrast.
