Eggs Hanging from a Tree: Easter Egg Hunt Fun
Coloring guide
Under a big leafy tree, a girl with a long ponytail and a boy with short tousled hair each hold a woven basket and look up with happy faces. Six decorated eggs hang from the branches on ribbons tied in little bows. Their patterns include dots, zigzags, hearts, flowers and stripes. A few blossoms are scattered among the leaves, and the grass below has small flowers and tufts, with rounded bushes behind. The girl is in a collared dress and Mary Jane shoes, and the boy has a hooded top. Small hands will enjoy filling in the large leaves and wide trunk, while older kids can take on the detailed egg patterns. Pastel pinks, blues and yellows suit the eggs, and a bright spring green is good for the leaves. Print this free page for a quick coloring break any time. Love this Easter Egg Hunt coloring page? - 2Color the grass and both bushes in leaf green, then add a few lime green touches on the leaves for variety.
- 3Fill the girl's dress in soft pink and her hair in warm brown, keeping her white collar clean, and color her face and hands peach.
- 4Paint the boy's hoodie in sky blue and his jeans in deep blue, leaving his hair golden yellow and his basket cloth white.
- 5Color the hanging eggs in lavender purple, hot pink, orange, bright red, golden yellow and lemon yellow, mixing and matching patterns as you like.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shade along one side of the trunk and the eggs to make them look rounder.
