Elephant at the Wheel of a Bus Full of Animal Friends
Coloring guide
An elephant with a big smile drives a little bus, and a giraffe pokes its long spotted neck up through the roof opening. A bear cub and a bunny grin out of the side windows. The bus has round headlights, a grille and big wheels, and it travels along a path edged with a wooden fence and daisy-like flowers. Behind it are a large leafy tree, a lake with a small sailboat, a little village with a church steeple, pine trees, mountains, puffy clouds and a bright sun with rays. Large open shapes keep this free printable friendly for little hands, and the small details give older kids plenty to do. Warm brown spots on the giraffe and a sunny yellow bus will stand out nicely against the blue lake and green trees. More like this: explore the Bus, Airplane and Hot Wheels coloring page collections.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the sky and background: color the clouds and the sky around the sun in light blue, and the distant mountains in sky blue with pale blue snowy peaks, leaving the sun white.
- 2Fill the lake and the water on the right with royal blue and steel blue, and the dirt road at the bottom with sandy beige.
- 3Color the trees, bushes, grass and flowers with grass green, leaf green and lime green, and the tree trunk with brown.
- 4Paint the bus in bright yellow, with golden yellow on the window frames and the stripe in orange red, then add slate gray to the wheels and steel blue to the bumpers.
- 5Fill the elephant driver in light gray, the bear in brown, and the giraffe in golden yellow with coral pink ears, keeping the bunny's face white.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shading on the bus sides and the elephant's body with a slightly deeper shade of the same color for more depth.
