Fairy Flower Cottage With a Butterfly at the Door

A cozy cottage with a giant bell-shaped flower petal roof is the star of this detailed scene, and a smiling butterfly rests right on the wooden plank door. The house has two round windows with cross-shaped panes, big leaves curling around the sides, and a stone stepping path up to the front step. Nearby are ferns, bluebell flowers, clusters of small blossoms and four spotted mushrooms in different sizes. Further back, you'll spot a large tree, pine trees, distant hills, a small waterfall and a winding stream. Big petals and tiny flower details together make this a good match for older kids who like long, patient coloring sessions. Try soft purples or pinks on the roof, warm browns on the door, and bright orange or blue wings so the butterfly stands out. Free to print for a quiet afternoon. Looking for more?
