A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.

1. 1Color both birds in the sky with sky blue, leaving their eyes white.
2. 2Fill the face, hands, arms, ears and neck with peach skin, keeping the eyes and little shine spots white.
3. 3Color the hat crown and brim golden yellow, add a rust red hat band, and fill the hair with chestnut brown.
4. 4Paint the overalls and straps denim blue, the shirt and rolled sleeves bright red, and the seed sack pale gold with the beans left light.
5. 5Color the boots chestnut brown with dark brown soles, the soil caramel brown, and the hill, bushes and sprouts leaf green or forest green. Optional: add a little darker shading under the hat and along the boots for depth.
