Farmyard Pig Standing Before a Big Barn
Coloring guide
This smiling piglet stands in a grassy farmyard and looks right at you with sparkly eyes, an open happy mouth, floppy ears and a curly tail. Behind it is a large barn with a gambrel roof, vertical plank siding and a cross-braced door, and a wooden fence runs along the right side. The sky has a sun with rays and three puffy clouds, and a gently rolling hill with bushes sits behind. Small grass tufts dot the ground, with a flower in each bottom corner. Little hands will manage the pig's big simple shapes, while the barn boards and clouds give older kids more to do. A soft pink pig with a slightly darker snout and inner ears looks sweet beside a classic red barn. It's a free printable that makes a calm pick for farm days at home or at school. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big pig body, legs and curly tail in pale pink, leaving the white eye shines and the clouds untouched.
- 2Color the inner ears, snout, cheeks and open mouth of the pig in salmon pink to add warmth to the face.
- 3Fill the big barn walls, roof panels and window in barn red, then add tan brown to the fence and the door trim.
- 4Use lime green for the grass and bushes, forest green for the hill, and golden yellow for the sun.
- 5Color the pig's hooves and the flower centers in chocolate brown and cream white, and leave the flower petals light.
- 6Optional: Add a little steel gray to the barn roof corner and the barn edge for a bit of shading.
