Mama Pig and Her Four Piglets in the Meadow

The big, smiling mother pig looks back over her shoulder as four little piglets trot behind her in a line, each with a curly tail and a cheerful face. They're crossing a grassy meadow scattered with daisy-style flowers and grass tufts. Behind them you'll see a gently rolling hill, a few round bushes and two puffy clouds. The mother pig's large shapes are easy for small hands, and the piglets and flower petals add finer detail for older kids. Soft pink for all the pigs, a bit darker on the ears and snouts, goes well with yellow daisy centers and fresh greens for the grass and hills. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the mama pig's big round body and all four piglets with soft pink, leaving the mama pig's teeth and eye shines white.
- 2Fill the mama pig's ears and snout, and the ears and snouts of the piglets, with rose pink.
- 3Color the bushes on the hill and the grass tufts in the meadow with grass green, then add lime green to the bottom grass clumps.
- 4Use chocolate brown for the hooves at the bottom of the legs.
- 5Color the flower centers in sunny yellow and the two flowers on the right with lavender purple petals; keep the rest of the flower petals and both clouds white.
- 6Optional: add a few light strokes of a slightly darker pink along the edges of the mama pig and piglets to give them a little depth.
