An open hand with spread fingers reaches up from a sleeved wrist, and a big round magnifying glass hovers over the lower fingers, zooming in on a swirling fingerprint. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the hand, palm, and all three visible fingers with peach, leaving small pale spots where the light hits the fingers.
- 2Fill both fingernails and the thumbnail with soft pink, leaving a little white at the top edge of each for shine.
- 3Color the magnifier rim and the wrist cuff with royal blue, pressing a bit harder for a bold outline feel.
- 4Color the handle with bright red, then add light gray to the metal ring near the lens and medium gray to the collar between the lens and handle.
- 5Leave the inside of the magnifier lens white, and add a light touch of pale blue in the lower left part of the lens behind the fingerprint lines.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading along the lower edges of the fingers and the handle to give them some depth.
