Fire Engine and Firefighters Rescue a Burning House

A house sits at the left with flames pouring out of the chimney and the roof window, and big puffy clouds of smoke rising above it. Another window shows fire inside. In front, a fire engine with a friendly smiling face on its front rolls along a set of tracks, with a railing and two water nozzles on top. Three firefighters in helmets are busy around it. One on the left carries a coiled hose, one in the middle holds a hose stretched across the ground, and one on the right runs with a ladder on his shoulder. A hose reel and a fire hydrant sit at the lower right. Try bold reds, oranges, and yellows for the flames, then ask kids to follow the hose from the hydrant to the firefighter and talk about how each tool helps put out a fire. This printable page has plenty of open space in the smoke for gray shading.
