A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the sun in the middle of the hills: fill the round sun with golden yellow and leave the rays white.
- 2Color the three clouds and the sky with sky blue, leaving the geese and their outlines white.
- 3Fill the hills, the big grassy field in front, and the rounded tree canopies with light green.
- 4Add medium green to the small bush and the tree shadows, then use forest green for the dark bushes near the hills.
- 5Color both tree trunks warm brown, and make the falling leaf bright orange.
- 6Optional: Add light strokes of a darker shade over the green hills and sky for a soft, textured look.
