A smiling flamingo balances on one leg in shallow water, the other leg folded up against its body and small ripples circling the foot. Its neck is long and curved, its eye is big and round, and its bent beak has a wide patch near the tip. The wing is made of layered scalloped feathers, so there are lots of little sections to fill in. Cattails with tall leaves stand on both sides, a grassy bank runs behind, and a round sun with short rays sits in the top corner. A few wavy lines mark the water up front. - 1Color the flamingo's body, neck, and wing in bubblegum pink, leaving the small triangle of space between the legs white.
- 2Fill the long standing leg, bent leg, and upper leg joint in coral, then color the foot in light salmon.
- 3Color the top part of the beak in pale pink and the pointed tip in charcoal black.
- 4Color the sun's circle in golden yellow and the cattail tops in chocolate brown.
- 5Fill the tall grass blades with leaf green, keeping the background white around them.
- 6Optional: add a few darker pink strokes along the edges of the wing for a little depth.
