Two penguins, one big and one small, stand side by side on a flat chunk of ice, both smiling with round eyes and little beaks. The bigger one stretches a flipper down toward the baby, who gazes up happily. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the ice floe and the iceberg: color the flat top and front of the ice floe and the iceberg in sky blue, leaving the small wave lines and the snowflakes white.
- 2Color the adult penguin's back, head edges, and flippers in charcoal gray, keeping the large belly and the eye areas white.
- 3Fill the baby penguin's head, flippers, and side body with light gray, leaving its belly white.
- 4Color both pairs of feet and the two beaks in bright orange and golden yellow, then add the small coral pink mouth on the adult penguin.
- 5Optional: Add a little shading with a slightly darker gray along the edges of the penguins' backs and under the ice floe to make the scene look more rounded.
