One-Legged Flamingo on the Beach Near a Palm Tree

A smiling flamingo rests on the sand with one leg bent, its long S-shaped neck curving gently and its dark-tipped beak tilted slightly down. Rolling ocean waves with little curled crests run across the page behind it. On the right, a leaning palm tree with a striped trunk holds a bunch of coconuts under feathery fronds. In the sand you'll spot a ridged scallop shell at the lower left, scattered dots for pebbles and a small tuft of grass in the corner. The layered wing feathers give small hands a fun challenge, and the open sky leaves room to get creative. Bright pink and coral fit the flamingo, black suits the beak tip, and layers of blue and teal make good waves. Download the free PDF and keep a few spare copies on hand.
