Flamingo Wading Among Reeds With Black-Tipped Beak

Coloring guide
A tall flamingo stands in shallow water with its long neck curved in an S shape and its head bent downward. The beak has a solid black tip, which is the only filled area on the page. The body is drawn with feather lines across the folded wing, and a short tail comes to a point at the back. Two thin legs with visible knee joints reach into the water, and small ripple rings sit around the feet. At the bottom right, a clump of reeds or grass blades grows from the water. In the background there are low rolling hills and a flat horizon line. This free printable page leaves plenty of open space for creativity. Try shading the body in pink and orange, then use the long feather lines on the wing to practice blending two shades. Kids can also color the sky and hills to talk about where flamingos live.
