A round floral mandala fills the page, built from flowers that repeat in a mirrored pattern. At the center sits a pointed star-shaped flower with a small square middle, surrounded by curved geometric lines. Four larger blooms with layered petals and ringed centers sit around it. Along the outer edge, big spiky flowers with rounded petal tips face up, down, left and right. Smaller five-petal flowers and bundles of narrow leaves and twisting stems fill the gaps between them. The lines are thin and the spaces are small, so this one suits older kids, teens and adults who like detailed work. Try fine-tip colored pencils and give each flower ring its own color family, such as warm tones in the center and cool shades toward the edge.
