Four Elephants Circle Mandala with Star Center

Four elephants stand around the middle of a round mandala, each one turned a quarter turn from the last so they form a pinwheel. Every elephant has its trunk lifted high, a curved tusk, and a small six-pointed star near the tip of the trunk. In the center is a circle holding an eight-pointed star made from two overlapping squares, surrounded by rings of tiny dots. Two thin outer rings frame the scene, and the outer band is filled with evenly spaced open circles. Those circles are great for practicing small, careful coloring, and kids can try alternating two or three colors around the ring.
