Four Friends Smiling in Graduation Gowns
Coloring guide
Four happy kids in caps and gowns squeeze in close with their arms around each other, all smiling for a group photo, with the cap tassels hanging beside their faces. A girl with curly hair and a headband is on the left. Next to her are a boy and a girl with straight hair, and on the right a boy in a wheelchair rests his arm on his friend's shoulder. Triangle pennant flags hang in a row across the top. The long, simple gowns have V-shaped collars and leave big open spaces that little hands can fill in easily. Navy or deep red gowns with gold tassels look great, and each flag can be its own color. Print this sheet at home for kids and coloring fans of all ages. - 1Start with the four gowns and graduation caps in royal blue, leaving the eye whites, teeth and wheel highlights white.
- 2Color the faces, hands and necks in peach skin, then fill the boy's hair in rust brown and the girls' hair in dark brown and chestnut brown.
- 3Fill the gown collars, cap tassels and the wheelchair footrest details in golden yellow, using pale yellow for the lighter areas.
- 4Color the pennant banner in red, golden yellow, sky blue, bright green and orange, one color per flag.
- 5Add the shoes and sneakers in caramel, bright green and hot pink, and shade the wheelchair frame in charcoal gray.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker blue along the gown folds and under the caps for depth, keeping the background white.
