Bird Bath Gathering of Four Butterflies

Around a big stone bird bath in a garden, four smiling butterflies have gathered. Two fly over the bowl, and the other two sit on the rim with their wings open and antennae curled. The bird bath has a scalloped bowl, rippled water, a fluted pedestal and a decorated round base. Clusters of hydrangea-style blooms, larger open flowers with round centers, leafy bushes, tufts of grass and a few pebbles surround it along the bottom. In the background you'll see a small picket fence and rounded treetops. The wings have lots of spots and sections, so markers or colored pencils work nicely. Soft purples and pinks suit the flower clusters, and each butterfly can get its own bright wing pattern. Download and print it free for the classroom or a weekend craft. Kids who like Butterfly coloring pages usually enjoy Umbrella and Star too.
