Friends Holding Hands Words Page

Coloring guide
Four happy children stand in a row holding hands in a flower-filled meadow, with the word FRIENDS in big bubble letters across the bottom. From left to right you'll see a boy in a hoodie and cargo pants, a girl with long wavy hair, a flower headband and a daisy-print dress, a curly-haired child in a striped tee and shorts, and a girl with a ponytail in overalls with a heart on the pocket. Behind them are a leafy tree, puffy clouds, a big sunshine, a wooden fence and several butterflies fluttering overhead. Polka dots, hearts and stripes decorate the letters, which makes them fun to fill in. Yellow and orange for the sun and bright pinks and purples for the flowers and butterflies would look lovely. Save it as a free PDF for classroom time or a rainy day. Fans of Words coloring pages often like Activity Sheets and Alphabet as well.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big background areas: color the grass and bushes in lime green and leaf green, and the tree leaves in lime green, leaving the sky clouds and sun white.
- 2Fill the boy's hoodie and the girl's overalls with bright blue and light blue, then color the boy's pants and the girl's skin in tan.
- 3Color the girl's dress in rose pink and add some pink on the flower details, keeping the stripes on the boy's shirt white for a fun pattern.
- 4Use navy blue and light blue for the boy's shorts and the stripes on his shirt, then add peach to his curly hair and orange to the letter S.
- 5Color the big word FRIENDS: rose pink for the F, light blue with white dots for the R, golden yellow stripes for the I, and lavender purple hearts on the D.
- 6Optional: Add a little shading on the grass and the trees with a slightly darker green to make the scene feel more lively.
