Fox and Bunny Ice Skating Hand in Hand
Coloring guide
A smiling fox and a little bunny skate side by side across the ice, holding hands in this winter scene. They both have long striped scarves with fringed ends and lace-up skates, and the fox's big fluffy tail with a zigzag tip swings out behind him. The bunny has tall upright ears and long whiskers, and she leans in with a happy face. Snow-covered bushes and bare trees frame the frozen pond, while snowflakes and round snowy dots drift through the sky. Curved lines on the ice show where they've already skated. Large open shapes on the scarves, skates and tail keep it easy for small hands. Orange for the fox with a white tail tip, plus red and blue stripes on the scarves, could look lovely. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the fox: color its body, head, ears and tail in orange, and leave the cream chest fur and tail tip for a soft light patch.
- 2Color the bunny's body, head and ears in warm gray, then add light pink inside the ears and salmon pink on the inner fox ears.
- 3Fill the scarves: the fox's scarf in red with golden yellow stripes, and the bunny's scarf in bright blue with light blue stripes.
- 4Paint the ice in pale ice blue and the bushes and trees in forest green, leaving the snowy tops and background white.
- 5Finish the small details: the skate blades in light sky blue and warm gray, and the orange hands that are holding each other.
- 6Optional: Keep the eye whites, the skate boots, and the bright snowy highlights white so they pop against the colors.
