Friendly Llama Standing With Long Neck Raised

A llama stands in profile with its long neck stretched up and its head turned to look straight at you. It has two tall, curved ears, round eyes, a small nose and a wide smiling mouth. The body is drawn as one big fluffy shape, with jagged, wispy edges along the belly, chest and neck that show off the woolly coat. Its four thin legs end in simple split hooves, and a few little curved lines mark the knees and a patch of fur on the side. There is no background, so the whole page is open for your own ideas. Try using soft browns, creams and grays for the wool, then add different shades in the fur sections to show texture. It also works well for a lesson on South American animals. This printable page is easy to color for younger kids because the shapes are large.
