Bold Outlined Elephant Face With Flared Ears and Long Trunk

A front-facing elephant head fills the page, drawn with thick, bold black outlines. Two large ears flare out on either side, each with a few short lines near the edge for wrinkles. The small round eyes sit under angled brow lines, with curved folds of skin framing them. A long trunk runs straight down the middle of the page, divided into many horizontal bands that get a little narrower toward the curled tip. Two slim tusks curve down on either side of the trunk. The big open spaces in the ears and forehead are easy for small hands to fill in. Try coloring each band of the trunk in a slightly different shade of gray or brown to show how the trunk is made of many wrinkled sections. This free printable also works well for a quick lesson on elephant ears and tusks.
