A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the Grinch: fill his head, body, arms and claws with lime green, leaving the eye whites and the teeth white.
- 2Color the snowy roofs and mounds with ice blue, keeping the snow highlights white.
- 3Paint the cottage walls with tan and the front door and wreath bow with red.
- 4Fill the mountains and the stream with light blue and sky blue, then add dark green to the pine trees.
- 5Add sea green or mint green to a few pine branches and gray to the stone chimneys and posts.
- 6Optional: Add a little soft blue shading on the snow and under the roof edges for depth.
