The Grinch Hanging Ornaments on a Christmas Tree

Here the Grinch leans toward a tall Christmas tree in a fuzzy Santa hat and a fur-trimmed coat, with a sly grin and slanted eyebrows. He holds a round ornament in each hand and looks ready to hang them. The tree has a big star on top, bead garlands draped along the branches, and several round ornaments already in place. At the bottom, a small box holds more ornaments, and two wrapped presents with bows sit on the left. The fur trim and shaggy legs give kids lots of texture to work with, while the ornaments and star are big, simple shapes that suit smaller hands. Try coloring the Grinch's fur bright green and the hat and coat classic red. This free printable page works well for a holiday afternoon at home or in the classroom.
