The Grinch Putting Antler on Smiling Puppy Max
Coloring guide
The Grinch grins slyly in a fuzzy Santa suit and floppy Santa hat with a pom-pom, leaning over a small puppy. One long-fingered hand is tucked near a twig antler fixed on the dog's head. The puppy sits happily with floppy ears, a wagging tail, and a collar with jingle bells, looking up at him with a big smile. The fur trim on the sleeves, hem, and collar gives kids lots of fuzzy edges to color. Try green or soft olive for the Grinch's fur, red for the suit and hat, and light brown for the pup, with gold or yellow for the little bells. This free printable page suits a range of ages and works well for holiday afternoons at home or in the classroom. Fans of The Grinch coloring pages often like Halloween and Halloween Masks as well.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the Grinch's head, arms, hands, legs and feet with grass green, leaving the eye whites and the white fur trim untouched.
- 2Fill the Santa suit, hat and sleeves with bright red, keeping the white fur trim on the collar, cuffs, hat pompom and hem white.
- 3Color the puppy's body, back, and hind legs with golden orange and burnt orange, then use chocolate brown for the floppy ears and the fluffy tail.
- 4Add light tan to the puppy's face, muzzle, forehead and antler, leaving the puppy's eye whites and the bell collar white.
- 5Use pale yellow on the Grinch's eyelids and pale lime on the feet and lower legs for a soft glow.
- 6Optional: Add a few darker strokes of grass green or burnt orange along the edges to give the fur a bit of depth.
