Garden Watering Scene with a Calendar Post
Coloring guide
Wearing a wide-brimmed straw hat, overalls and tall rain boots, a smiling child tips a big watering can over a vegetable patch while drops fall from the sprinkler spout. Carrots with leafy tops line the front left, and round, ruffled cabbages sit on the right. A simple picket fence and a few puffy bushes stand behind. On the right, a wooden post holds a spiral-bound wall calendar with an empty grid, a nice way into talking about planting seasons, weeks and days. Big shapes and clean lines make it easy for young kids with crayons. Orange carrots, light green cabbages, a golden straw hat and blue water drops are a good mix.
