Crouched in a flower patch, a chubby, big-eyed little turtle with a happy open-mouth smile tips a watering can and sends droplets down onto the blooms. It looks like a baby-style Blastoise, with a round shell and two chunky cannons poking up from its back. Daisy-style flowers, tulips and leafy grass fill the bottom of the page, while a small butterfly and a puffy cloud drift in the empty sky above. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big turtle head and body in lime green, leaving the two small eye shines white.
- 2Fill the shell dome, side shell pieces and leaves in emerald green and forest green, adding leaf green on the lower leaves.
- 3Color the watering can in medium blue, with the spout and rim in light gold, and add light blue water drops below it.
- 4Paint the cannons on the shell in light gray and the bands in amber orange, then add the pale blue cloud and the butterfly in golden yellow and lemon yellow.
- 5Add the flowers: rose pink petals, lavender purple blooms, coral red tulip and lemon yellow centers, leaving the white flower petals white.
- 6Optional: Add a little forest green shading under the shell and a touch of blush pink on the cheeks for a soft, cute look.
