Geometric Mandala with Squares, Diamonds and Looping Ovals

Geometric Mandala with Squares, Diamonds and Looping Ovals coloring page

Coloring guide

A large rounded square sits over a tilted diamond, and straight lines cross both to make a grid of triangles and smaller squares. In the center, two long overlapping ovals form a woven, flower-like shape inside a small square. Around the edges, eight matching ornaments made of stretched loops and ovals appear in pairs on the corners and singly on the sides. Each has a tiny bell or acorn shape where its loops meet. The design is symmetrical, so every side looks the same. Try coloring the center ovals in two warm shades so the overlap stands out, then pick one cool color for all eight edge ornaments. The many triangles also work well for a pattern or symmetry exercise with older kids, and you can print the page again for a second try with a different palette.
