A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big red areas: color the pajamas, the gift sack and the slippers in cherry red, leaving the small heart shapes white.
- 2Fill the Christmas tree in forest green and leaf green, then add the star in forest green and the red ornaments in cherry red.
- 3Color the fireplace bricks in tan and the mantel shelf in burnt orange, with the fire in golden yellow and the dark opening in dark brown.
- 4Paint the girl's hair and pigtails in chestnut brown and her face in warm beige, leaving the eye whites and smile highlights white.
- 5Color the bunny body and ears in cream white, then add pumpkin orange to the bunny's ornament and tangerine to the small ornament on its head.
- 6Finish with the window in sky blue and ice blue, and the gifts in bright blue and forest green. Optional: add a little darker shading under the bunny and the sack for depth.
