Golf Hole with Flag and a Ball Waiting Beside It
Coloring guide
A tall flagpole sticks up from the cup of a golf hole, with a wavy pennant flag blowing out to the right and a small round ball on the top of the pole. Right next to the hole, a dimpled golf ball sits on the green, just a tap away from dropping in. The putting green is a wide oval with little tufts of grass in front, and two round, bushy shrubs sit behind it with a few curved lines for leaves. Large shapes and bold outlines make it a nice fit for preschoolers and early elementary kids who are still getting the hang of crayons. A bright red or orange flag looks good on light green grass, and the ball can stay white or get a touch of pale yellow. It's a free PDF, handy for a quiet afternoon or a sports-themed day. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the flag all over with bright red, leaving the flag outline bold and clean.
- 2Fill the flagstick and its round top with golden yellow.
- 3Color both bushes with grass green, keeping the little curved lines on them as they are.
- 4Fill the rim around the hole with light brown, then color the inside of the hole with chocolate brown.
- 5Leave the golf ball and the grass and ground areas white so the ball stands out next to the hole.
- 6Optional: add a little soft shading on one side of the flagstick and bushes with a darker shade of the same color for depth.
