Grinning Boy Side Kick in Martial Arts Class
Coloring guide
This boy has tousled hair and a huge grin. He balances on one bare foot, with the other leg swung up in a karate side kick and both fists raised in front of him. His loose uniform has a crossed collar and a knotted belt with two ends hanging down. Tile lines run along the floor at the bottom of the page, and a round sun with short rays sits in the upper right corner. His sparkling eyes make this a fun choice for kids who love martial arts or like cheering on a favorite sport. Maybe color the belt orange or green to show his rank, and give the sun a bright yellow. Save it as a free PDF for class time or a rainy afternoon. Fans of Martial Arts coloring pages often like Swimming and NHL / Hockey as well.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the sun in the top right: fill its center with golden yellow and leave the rays as simple white lines.
- 2Color the boy's face, ears, neck, and raised foot and standing foot with peach skin, leaving the eye whites bright white.
- 3Fill the hair on top of the head with chestnut brown, then add a little brown shading along the sides if you like.
- 4Color the two red mats on the floor with coral red, leaving the thin black lines between the sections.
- 5Add the blue belt with bright blue, including both tails and the knot at the front, and color the fists with peach skin.
- 6Finish with light gray on the ankle cuff and sleeve cuffs, and keep the karate uniform white. Optional: add a light peach shadow under the chin for depth.
