- 1Start with the Grinch's bright red coat and the red bow tie, coloring the big red areas evenly and leaving the white fur trim on the collar, sleeves and hem untouched.
- 2Fill the Grinch's head, hands, and legs with lime green, keeping the white eyes, teeth and wrist fur white.
- 3Color the snow arches and the blue sky shapes behind them with sky blue, and leave the snow tops and ground white.
- 4Use golden orange for the puppy's body, front paws and cheek, then peach orange for the right floppy ear and chocolate brown for the left ear and tail.
- 5Color the snowflakes in sky blue and add a pale ice blue highlight on the Grinch's leg.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading on the coat folds and under the puppy's body to make the drawing look more lively.
