A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the Grinch's body, arms, legs, and face in lime green, leaving the white fur patches and eye whites untouched.
- 2Color the armchair, the floor rug stripes, and the window panes in forest green and sky blue, keeping the stool and wall white.
- 3Fill the fireplace stones with stone gray and warm taupe, then shade the firebox back in charcoal gray.
- 4Color the stockings in dark red, forest green, and olive brown, keeping the fluffy cuffs white, then add orange and golden yellow to the fire and logs.
- 5Finish the wreath bows and ornaments in bright red and forest green, color the mantel in chestnut brown, and leave the wall and wreath background white.
- 6Optional: Add a little extra shading to the stones and Grinch fur with a slightly darker shade of the same color for more depth.
