Splashing Baby Elephant Color by Number
Coloring guide
Standing on a patch of grass with its trunk raised, a smiling baby elephant sends a fountain of water droplets into the air. A big round sun with rays shines in the top corner. Numbers from 1 to 7 mark every section. The body, head and legs are 1, the ears are 2, the trunk stripes are 3, and the water splash is 4. The tusks and mouth are 5, the sun is 6, and the tail tuft is 7. The spaces are large and easy to read, which makes this free printable a good fit for preschoolers and early elementary kids learning their numbers. A soft blue-gray body with bright sky blue water looks great, and sunny yellow works for every 6 on the sun. - 2Fill the big floppy ears with light pink and color the open mouth rose pink.
- 3Color the tusks and toenails cream, and the tail tuft chocolate brown.
- 4Use sky blue for the water spray, the splash drops, and the top ends of the spray, then fill the sun and its rays with golden yellow.
- 5Add leaf green to the small grass tuft at the lower left corner.
- 6Optional: add charcoal gray inside the mouth roof and a few darker strokes along the trunk for depth.
