Bear Cub Soccer Player in the Forest

Coloring guide
This cheerful bear cub has round ears and a big open-mouth smile, and he's caught mid-kick as he sends a soccer ball rolling over the grass. His outfit includes a V-neck jersey with striped sleeve cuffs, shorts, tall striped socks and cleats, and the bumps on the bottom of one shoe show. His arms swing out as he runs. Leafy trees and rounded bushes frame the scene behind him, with small grass tufts and leaves dotted over the ground. Bold, clean lines make it a good match for preschoolers and early elementary kids who are building pencil control. Warm brown fur, a bright team color on the jersey and socks, and the usual black and white ball would look great. The free PDF is ready to print for a quiet creative moment. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big brown areas: color the bear's head, paws, thighs, and both tree trunks with chestnut brown.
- 2Color the bear's shirt royal blue, leaving the white collar trim and sleeve stripes uncolored.
- 3Fill the bushes and tree leaves with leaf green and lime green, and use forest green for the darker shrubs along the edges.
- 4Color the inside of the ears peach beige, then fill the shoes and the center of the soccer ball charcoal black.
- 5Add the tongue in coral pink, and keep the eye whites, shorts, socks, and soccer ball panels white.
- 6Optional: add a few darker strokes of forest green or chestnut brown in the shadowed areas for a bit of depth.
