Fish Jumping Past a Happy Bear Cub in the Stream

Coloring guide
A fluffy bear cub wades in shallow water, grinning down at a spotted fish that leaps right in front of him. Splashes and droplets fly around the fish, and soft ripples spread out from the bear's paws. Cattails and tall grass grow on both sides, and smooth rocks line the banks, with a couple more in the bottom corner. The shaggy fur means lots of small strokes to fill in, and the fish's dots and fins add extra detail. Golden-brown crayons suit the coat, with a dark brown nose and soft blues and greens for the stream and reeds. You can print or download it free, no sign-up needed. Looking for more? A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the bear's body and head in warm brown, leaving the eye shines and nose highlight white.
- 2Color the inner ears and the bear's muzzle area in peach to give the cub soft, friendly features.
- 3Fill the fish's body in pale yellow and its head in olive green, then add a touch of dark detail near the mouth.
- 4Color the stream water in sky blue, including the ripples around the bear's paws and the splash by the fish.
- 5Add the rocks in light gray and the reeds, cattails, and bushes in grass green and dark brown for the riverbank.
- 6Optional: Add a little extra shading on the bear with darker brown strokes to make the fur look fluffier.
