- 1Start with the boy's skin in soft peach on his face, arms, and legs, leaving his socks and shoes white.
- 2Color his T-shirt and sleeves bright red, then fill his shorts medium blue with a navy blue shadow on one side.
- 3Fill his hair warm brown and color the backpack straps leaf green.
- 4Use sky blue for the distant hills, leaf green for the bushes, and pale blue for the net.
- 5Color the butterflies orange and golden yellow, then fill the grass light green and the flowers with pink and golden yellow, keeping the flower petals white.
- 6Optional: add a few darker leaf green strokes to the grass at the bottom for depth.
