Boy Surfing a Big Wave by a Hawaiian Volcano

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big sea areas: color the water behind the boy and around the board with sky blue, and use deep blue for the inside of the wave.
- 2Fill the boy's skin, including his face, chest, arms and legs, with peach skin, leaving the eye whites and teeth white.
- 3Color the surfboard golden yellow, then add the three long stripes along it in orange.
- 4Use bright red for the swim shorts and coral red for the darker parts, leaving the white stripes on the shorts white.
- 5Add chestnut brown to the boy's hair, warm gray to the volcano, and grass green to the island at the bottom of the volcano.
- 6Finish with the sun in golden yellow and the splashes and foam in ice blue, pale blue, light cyan and aqua blue. Optional: add a little darker shade under the hair and along the wave edge for depth.
