Happy Cow Face Portrait with Big Eyes

Coloring guide
This close-up portrait shows a cheerful cow looking right at you, with shiny eyes, long lashes and a wide, open-mouthed smile. Two small curved horns sit on its head with a tuft of hair between them, and floppy ears hang down on both sides. The big rounded muzzle has two oval nostrils, and a few irregular spots appear on the cheeks and on the chest under the chin. No background is drawn, so kids can put all their attention on the cow. Thick, bold outlines and roomy open areas keep it easy for preschoolers and early elementary kids, and the spots invite creative patterns. Pink for the muzzle and ears with brown or black patches works nicely. It's a free page for a farm lesson or a relaxed afternoon. Fans of Cow coloring pages often like Horses and Pig as well.

- golden yellow
- pale cream
- soft pink
- chocolate brown
- burnt orange
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the big face, neck, and cheeks with golden yellow, staying inside the lines and leaving the eye whites free.
- 2Color the muzzle area in the middle of the face with pale cream, keeping the nose shape clean.
- 3Add soft pink to both ears and the open mouth with its tongue shape.
- 4Color the two horns, the nostrils, and the cheek spots in chocolate brown, then fill the hair tuft on top of the head with burnt orange.
- 5Keep the eye whites and the small shine spots in the eyes white so the eyes look bright and happy.
- 6Optional: Add a slightly deeper shade of golden yellow along the edges of the face and ears for a little depth.
