The background stays simple: small tufts of grass on the ground, rolling hills far off, a few bushes at the edges and three puffy clouds above. - 1Color the clouds and the sky-blue patches in sky blue, leaving the small cloud at the top right white.
- 2Fill the horse's body, legs and outer ears with caramel brown, keeping the rest of the page clean.
- 3Color the flowing mane, forelock and long tail in golden yellow, using wavy strokes to follow the hair.
- 4Fill the inner ears with soft pink and the hooves with dark gray.
- 5Color the hills and grass with grass green and the bushes with teal, leaving the small patch of background between the legs white.
- 6Leave the eye highlights and the white parts of the eyes white. Optional: add a slightly darker brown along the horse's belly and legs for depth.
